Reflection
It's so hard to do my own writing that contains my feeling and connect it to the book. The topic is about death and dying. There's relation between them but it's hard to lead them together. I had spent a lot of time thinking about it and that was really confused. The research took a lot of time as well. It's hard to find people's feelings of death on the internet so easily.

Death and Dying
Part 1: Introduction:
Well, I am interested in this title is because I am interested in people’s after life. I want to know where people go after they die. What’ll the feeling probably be when they are dying? Did they stayed in the body or become a ghost? Did they go to the paradise or the hell, which will make the decision? I have already known that death has already been a great problem to human. This is really an interesting topic because people had been study it for a long time. And many bad people want to become immortalized. But that’s impossible, at least for now.
Part II: What I want to learn:
I hope to know about how people die, what will they feel before they die? Where will they go? And so on. The main questions are what’s death? Why people go to death? Why all of us should die one day? Where will they go? What’ll they feel? Is death painful? Which kinds of death do they prefer to?
Part III: The Story of My Search:
I have interviewed Alycia, Max and Mallory last Wednesday at school on 23rd Oct. I asked them: what do you think about death and do you afraid of it? They’ve all got different answers. Mallory said ‘Everybody will die, and when you die, it’s painful, but after it, it’ll be better.’ And ‘It’s a thing that all of us have to face one day, no one can escape.’ Alycia said it’s not painful. She just doesn’t want to die.
When I asked about where dead people will go after they die, they’ve all got different answers, too. Alycia said ‘After I die, I will go back to the earth and rebirth.’ As a Christian, I think that’s really a stupid idea. Mallory said she may go to have a judgment, in the hell or somewhere she doesn’t know.
And during the whole, complete interview, I found out that they all agreed that death is an ending and another new beginning.
But through the book, Tuesdays with Morrie, Morrie thought after people die, they will return on other things in the future. He believed in the reincarnation and he said he would like to be a gazelle if he had a choice.
After complete reading this book, I learned that death is natural, everyone must face it one day, and before you die, do some good, valuable things. Think of your life. Think before you do a thing. Make a conclusion and do not feel regret of the things you did during your life.
Here’s something interesting I found from this website:

It’s talking about the feeling of death. It said a few years ago, there’s an experiment taken by a hospital in Tianjin. It invited 42 volunteers and use medicine to make them feel ‘death’. They recorded the feeling of them. Some of them said they saw different colors of light, some of them said they saw their parents and friends, some of them said they saw their souls fly out of their bodies and the rest of them said they saw a lightened tunnel.
There’s an American psychologist called Michael, he had planned a research of the ‘death trip’. He used medicines that make people ‘die’, than rescue them. The results of the two experiments are probably the same.
A 65-year-old patient in America has the feeling of death, when she opened her eye, the first thing she did is talked about the trip to the doctor who saved her. She remembered that the feeling is just like a cloud, she flows up very quickly, and nothing can stop her (That includes the ceilings of the hospital), than he went through a tunnel, and she saw a light, the light became larger and larger, brighter and brighter. All she felt is easiness and serene.
Part IV: Reflections on My Search
From all of the information, I’ve known that the most common cause of human deaths in the world is heart disease, followed by stroke and other cerebrovascular diseases, and in the third place lower respiratory infections.
People are interested in the feeling of death and the thing that will probably happen after it. They do experiments to see the results. But their results are not exactly the same, no one can prove which one is the correct one, I think human will never find out the true ‘answer’ unless they die.
